Simply Sweet of Bellevue is a homerun bakery founded by Heather Altman. They make everything from cupcakes to customized birthday cakes and even jalapeno-infused cream cheese bites. Simply Sweet got their start in 2020 amid COVID. Many businesses were down and not able to accept customers. Spirits were low in Bellevue. However, in the darkest hour, some of the smallest lights get to shine. Heather found a way to engage the members of her church and the Bellevue community with her gift. She began customizing a cake for a fellow sister at her church based on the sister's request. The cake came out so delicious and appealing that the questions started: "Who made this amazing cake?" One word-of-mouth referral turned into 10. Before they knew it, Simply Sweet was born!

As long as you give the owner a deposit, an idea of what you're looking for, and about three weeks lead time before your event, you can rest assured that the final product will blow you away! Simply Sweet cares about more than just the church community. They want the Bellevue community to know just how good they are at their craft. They also look for opportunities to unite people, as mentioned in their latest ad.

The tasteval fundraiser was set up to encourage the networking of Bellevue and raise funds for a youth summercamp program. People from all over town were invited to this taste fundraiser in hopes that they could meet other business partners and community members. The other perk of this event for Simply Sweet was making long-term commitments from potential customers while raising funds for the youth trying to attend camp in Navoo this summer.

Simply Sweet's custom creations are fun and original. Below is a creation for a birthday party for a girl named Lizzy. She was born around Halloween. She asked he mother for a "Hocus Pocus" themed cake. One well-timed call to Simply Sweet and boom! Superior quality custom-made Witch-cake. No the cake was not made with children but for children.
